Peter Quinn, a founding member of Sheridan Quinn Solicitors, qualified as a Solicitor in 1981. He is an experienced Solicitor with particular interest in the areas of Family Law and Commercial Law. 

Peter specialises in Family Law and advises on all matters including Divorce, Judicial Separation, Co-habitation and the financial consequences following separation.  He also advises on Child Law, including issues of Custody, Access and Guardianship. Peter has extensive experience of dealing with Family Law clients, has been involved in many leading cases and is a recognised expert in this area. 

Peter has vast experience in the area of Commercial Law, dealing mainly with Company Insolvencies and client’s personal debt.  Peter has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of commercial litigation.  He has acted in a number of liquidations, examinerships, bankruptcy matters and has experience advising liquidators, examiners, petitioners and creditors.  

He is an active member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and sits on its Family Law and Minors Committee, dealing extensively with issues such as co-habitation agreements, the recent civil partnership legislation including clients’ rights and obligations under the Act.
